Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

My art is a continuous and playful exploration through different techniques and media of the boundaries between what you know and what you see. In my work I have paintings that asume the roll of portraits and sometimes there are naughty photographs that have the irrepresible desire of becoming a painting. Both are expresive portraits of the essential, which do not exist at any particular time or place but rather as a type of thing. Born and raised in Spain living in the Netherlands. I enjoy creating my own parallel world and I enjoy the rest of the people being able to enjoy it as well. My art adds a topical twist to cultural background and collective art conscience.
